These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the mobile windshield repair services ("Services") provided by 5-Star AutoGlass. By engaging our Services, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
1. Scope of Service
At 5-Star AutoGlass, we specialize in providing mobile windshield repair services, focusing on chips, cracks, and other forms of damage to your vehicle's windshield. Our skilled and certified technicians use state-of-the-art equipment and industry-approved techniques to perform windshield repairs that restore structural integrity and improve visibility.
Our repair services are specifically designed for pre-existing windshield damage. We do not offer replacement services, and our repairs are intended to address minor chips or cracks, typically up to a maximum of 10 inches in length. Our goal is to ensure that your vehicle's windshield remains functional and safe, but it’s important to note that our services do not provide an exact restoration to a "like-new" condition.
2. Repair Results and Expectations
We make every effort to achieve the best possible result for our customers. Our repair process is designed to:
Reduce the visibility of chips, cracks, and other windshield damage.
Restore structural integrity to the windshield, ensuring it can withstand normal driving conditions.
While we strive for optimal results, it’s important to manage expectations. Windshield repairs typically result in a reduction of visibility ranging from 70% to 95%, depending on factors such as the size, type, age, and location of the damage. In some cases, a small amount of imperfection may remain, but the damage will be significantly less noticeable compared to the initial condition.
Please note: While we aim to reduce the visibility of the damage, we do not guarantee that the repair will make the damage completely disappear. The nature of windshield repairs means that there may be some residual cosmetic imperfections.
3. Liability Disclaimer
While we work diligently to provide the highest quality windshield repairs, we must make clear the following disclaimers:
Limitations of Repair: Although 5-Star AutoGlass uses industry-standard practices, there are inherent risks involved with repairing damaged windshields. In some cases, cracks may worsen or spread during or after the repair process, even though the windshield appeared stable prior to the service.
No Liability for Further Damage: 5-Star AutoGlass cannot be held responsible for any further damage that may occur during or after the repair process. While the repair is intended to reduce the damage, any new stress or external force (e.g., road debris, temperature fluctuations, etc.) could cause further cracking.
Chemical Treatment Disclaimer: If the windshield has been treated with any chemical products, such as Rain-X or other water-repellent products, we must inform you that these treatments can interfere with the repair process. 5-Star AutoGlass will make every reasonable effort to complete the repair to the highest standards; however, if the damage continues to crack or fail due to the presence of such chemicals, we are not liable for any further issues arising from the repair. We highly recommend that customers inform us of any prior treatments applied to the windshield prior to the repair.
4. Lifetime Warranty
At 5-Star AutoGlass, we stand behind the quality of our repairs. All windshield repairs are covered by our Lifetime Warranty, which includes the following provisions:
Repair Warranty: If the repaired area begins to crack again or shows signs of failure at any point during the lifetime of the windshield, we will reattempt the repair at no additional cost.
Coverage and Limitations: The Lifetime Warranty is valid only for the original repair area. It covers the chips or cracks that were repaired and does not extend to new damages that occur after the repair is completed. If the repair fails due to external factors, such as road debris, accidents, or weather events, the warranty does not apply.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damages caused by chemical treatments (such as Rain-X, wax, or other water-repellent chemicals) or other external factors that may impact the repair process and its effectiveness.
5. Refund Policy
In rare cases where a windshield repair does not meet expectations or the damage cannot be repaired, 5-Star AutoGlass offers a 50% refund policy, subject to the following conditions:
Eligibility for Refund: To be eligible for a refund, the repair must be inspected by one of our technicians. If the technician deems the damage non-repairable or if the repair fails despite our best efforts, the customer may request a refund.
Refund Process: If the customer qualifies for a refund, 5-Star AutoGlass will process a 50% refund of the cost of the repair.
Exclusions: Refunds do not apply to situations where the damage continues to crack due to external factors (e.g., road debris, weather conditions, or the presence of chemical treatments such as Rain-X).
6. Customer Responsibilities
In order to ensure the best possible repair outcome, we ask that customers take the following steps:
Disclosure of Pre-existing Treatments: Customers are responsible for informing us of any prior treatments, such as the application of Rain-X, other water-repellent products, or other chemicals that may interfere with the repair process.
Vehicle Accessibility: Customers must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time for the repair. This includes ensuring the windshield is clean, free of obstructions, and easily accessible for our technicians to perform the service.
Damage Severity: Customers must assess the severity of the damage prior to the appointment. If the damage appears too severe for a repair (e.g., cracks larger than the specified size, damage directly in the driver’s line of sight, or structural integrity issues), our technician will advise you of the best course of action, which may include windshield replacement.
7. Payment Terms
Payment Upon Completion: Payment for services rendered is due immediately upon completion of the repair.
Accepted Payment Methods: 5-Star AutoGlass accepts a variety of payment methods, including cash, major credit cards, and mobile payment options (e.g., PayPal, Venmo, etc.).
Refund Procedure: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with the terms set forth in the Refund Policy section of this Agreement.

We are committed to going above and beyond to deliver the best possible results. While we can’t guarantee 100% perfection due to the nature of windshield repairs, we always strive to exceed your expectations, providing service with integrity and professionalism.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
5-Star AutoGlass reserves the right to amend, update, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying you directly. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any modifications.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas. Any disputes or claims arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in the Unites States. (whether of the State of Texas or any other jurisdiction).
By scheduling or accepting our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
